Welcome to Seasiders Learning Centre

Conveniently located close to Blackpool town centre, Seasiders is a dedicated adult learning centre (19+), providing basic skills for both English speaking and non-English speaking learners.

Our dedicated team of highly qualified tutors deliver their subject specialism to ensure learners get the best learning experience.

Our courses are designed to help adults achieve their goals by offering flexible learning options to access the basic skills needed for both education and career progression.

Steps to Success

Enrolment

Choose your subject and contact the centre to discuss our different options.  You will attend an Initial Advice and Guidance interview, where you will complete pre-enrolment assessments and any enrolment paperwork.
 

Studying

Once your level has been confirmed you will be assigned a class to attend; whether this is classroom-based or online.  Regular attendance is key to success!
 

Achievement

When your tutor is confident you are ready, you will sit an exam to achieve your qualification and receive an accredited certificate.  Exams can take place earlier than expected based on your progress.
 

Progression

On successful completion of your course, you can either:

• Progress to the next level of study in your subject

or

• Use your qualifications to access employment and/or other educational opportunities

Face to face Initial Advice and Guidance appointments (IAG) are designed to assess student current capabilities, discuss learning needs, options available, complete any enrolment paperwork, and assign classes and/or start dates.

Parking

Seasiders is located at Blackpool Football Ground and the car parks surrounding the building are pay and display.  Alternative parking can be found in nearby streets where there are no resident permit parking restrictions.
 

Arriving by bus

Blackpool Football Ground is located between St Annes Road and Lytham Road; main bus routes from both north and south routes.
 

Arriving by tram

The Football Ground is a 5-10 minute walk from the promenade making it also accessible from tram routes.

Accessibility

The pay and display car park directly outside Seasiders Learning Centre entrance has disability parking spaces. To the side of the main entrance to Seasiders Learning Centre, there is walkway with access to a lift.

Hearing loop accessibility is available at reception.
