Chemistry - GCSE
Summary
This course meets the mandatory requirements of GCSE Science for a number of roles in the health and education sector. It is delivered over Wednesday evenings at the Bispham campus in our cutting edge science facilities.
The course provides a smooth start for those who have been out of education for a while, whilst thoroughly preparing students for the exam at the end of the academic year.

What will I learn?
Industry placement, field trips and guest speakers
There are no placement requirements for this course, and no field trips currently planned.
How will I learn?
You will study content such as atomic structure, bonding, energy, chemical analysis and the atmosphere.
Whilst studying this course, you will experience a range of practical and theory sessions in our laboratories at Bispham. You will be required to show competency in a range of practicals, which are applicable to a number of careers in science, education and health.
