Multiply - Making Money Online


In a time of crisis for the cost of living, it has never been more important for us as individuals to live smart, save money where we can and manage a budget across different aspects of our lives.

This 6-hour course has been designed to give you an insight into how you can sell unwanted items easily, plus how you can purchase items from various websites for a fraction of the cost of high street prices.

You will be shown how to access and use price comparison sites and specific websites and social media used to buy and sell specific items.

Career progression

Once you have finished this course you may wish to start buying and selling online, or you could further your maths/finance skills by joining a Maths Functional Skills course.

This course is a brilliant introduction to digital functional skills and saving money using various mathematical methods to achieve it.

You could build upon these skills and open lots of job opportunities by progressing through our other courses of English, Maths and Digital Functional skills.

Entry Requirements

The only entry requirement for this course is that you are aged 19+, enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Qualification obtained

Multiply (numeracy) provision designed to help people use numeracy to manage their money,6 to 10 hours

Extra costs and equipment

Participants will be given an exercise book in which to make notes. No other equipment is required.

Teaching takes place in small groups in an informal community setting where you'll share your learning with like-minded students.
