This industry-recognised course provides the knowledge, skills and experience needed to build a successful career in business administration. You will cover all aspects of business administration, exploring topics such as business communications, customer service, market research, digital marketing and social media for business. We will also support you to develop your practical skills in line with up-to-date working practices within a modern business environment. There is a strong emphasis on gaining the transferable skills and confidence needed to progress within employment and/or to higher-level study.
There are no particular entry requirements for this apprenticeship. However, an employer will expect you to have a keen interest in business and be able to demonstrate a 'can do' attitude. You should also have a basic level of numeracy and literacy, which you will develop further on this course.
Teaching and Learning Methods
We use a variety of teaching methods to allow you to develop high level sector-specific skills. Your practical skills and competency will be supported and assessed by our assessor. The functional skills element of this qualification is delivered by specialist teachers, who will provide support either at College or in the workplace.

The approval process ensures that staff delivering and/or assessing a given programme are appropriately qualified, with relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
