Course Overview

Your studies on this Level 2 Accounts and Finance Assistant apprenticeship will provide you with the skills needed in junior and entry-level accounting roles.

Account and finance assistants put their knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting software to good use. On this apprenticeship you will gain a solid foundational knowledge of finance administration – from double entry bookkeeping and basic costing principles to learning about the latest accounting software. 

On successfully completing your apprenticeship you will receive the AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting qualification.

Entry Requirements

  • To make sure this qualification is right for you, we’ll undertake a short assessment session.
  • It’s preferable that you have English and Maths GCSE Grade 4/C or above. 
  • Your prospective employer may have specific entry requirements above and beyond those required for the study programme.
