[This course runs on a Tuesday evening 5.30pm to 8.30pm]. Are you constantly watching social media to update your own hair and make-up styles? Would you like to gain the knowledge and skills required to work in the creative hair and make-up industry? This programme is designed for you if you have little or no experience but want to start a career in this dynamic, competitive and rewarding industry. Your skills will be developed, providing you with the opportunity to develop your creative and artistic skills in hair and make-up. Blackpool and The Fylde College is expertly positioned to ensure that you have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills to support your career. You will learn practical skills that employers and leading industry experts identify as key to working in this ever-growing industry. The focus of the course is the development of practical skills with the underpinning theory aspects of the skills required by the industry. You will also develop essential communication and customer service skills along with consideration for the environmental and sustainability. The Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Make-up has been developed to support you in gaining meaningful employment or self-employment or as the entry requirement to Level 3 Theatrical and Media Make up course.
