The Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Make-up has been developed to support you in gaining meaningful employment or self-employment or as the entry requirement to Level 3 Theatrical and Media Make up course. Entry Requirements There are no formal for this course other than being 19+. You will, however, need to demonstrate good communication and dexterity skills as well as a keen desire to work with clients in a professional manner. Qualification Obtained Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Make-up Qualification ObtainedCertificate in Cosmetic Make-Up Learning and Teaching Methods Units studied include: Provide eyelash and brow treatments Apply make-up Instruction on make-up application Client care and communcation in beauty-related industries Follow health and safety practices in the salon Display stock for sale in the salon Career Options and Progression This qualification provides you with eligibility to become a member of recognised professional bodies including The British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) or Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). It has national and international recognition and so associated travel is also a benefit.
