Entry Requirements
To take this course, you must be a qualified vehicle technician or car mechanic who can work without supervision. Ideally, you should be in full-time employment with at least two years' experience in the automotive industry.
You’ll need to be familiar with the skills, knowledge and techniques used to service, maintain and repair vehicles fitted with high-voltage batteries and components such as hybrid or pure electric vehicles.
This course is designed for professionals who already understand the basics of vehicle electrical systems and want to take the next step toward becoming a certified electric vehicle technician through IMI accreditation.

Extra costs and equipment
You should bring footwear suitable for an automotive practical workshop environment. All other equipment/resources you require for this course are provided by B&FC at no extra cost.
