Once you’ve completed the Level 3 LVI course, you’ll have your ATA Light Vehicle Inspection Technician Accreditation, which is the first step towards achieving your MOT Tester Licence.

Entry Requirements
Inspection technicians must be able to work unsupervised - ideally, they should be in full-time employment with at least 3 years’ experience to ensure they are familiar with the techniques for vehicle servicing, inspection and system(s) diagnosis.
