Dermaplaning

Summary

Dermaplaning, which involves the removal of the uppermost layer of the skin and the fine hair that covers the face, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that has become popular in recent years. The treatment can help reduce the appearance of acne scars and other skin imperfections by revealing newer, undamaged skin beneath. It is also said to provide a much improved base for applying make-up to produce a smoother, velvety finish.

This one-day course will take you step-by-step through the procedure and allow you time to practise what you've learnt under the supervision of one of our highly trained tutors. You will also learn about key health and safety considerations and about the aftercare advice you need to provide to clients.

You will need to contact your insurer directly to add this procedure to your insurance cover on successful completion of this qualification.
