Successful completion of the Applied Science - Certificate of Higher Education is a pre-requisite of entry onto the programme.
You may be considered as an applicant if you have completed the first year of an Applied Science degree elsewhere, but this will be at the discretion of the course tutors.

Essential skills: English and Maths

Industry placement, field trips and guest speakers
You will be encouraged to secure a work placement as part of this programme, forming an assessed module in Level 5. This opportunity is wide ranging and heavily supported by our industry partners, giving students a rich experience of what it is like to have a scientific career whilst they are studying.
