The HNC in Mechanical Engineering programme combines theoretical and practical elements which are delivered in a number of different ways. Lectures are the most common technique used, which will offer you the opportunity to engage with other students in your group, and is where the focus is on sharing knowledge through the use of presentations, calculations and case studies.Another delivery technique which will be used in a number of modules is practical demonstrations, where both production and testing equipment will be demonstrated by the tutor who will be a qualified operator.Tutorials will present you with an opportunity for focused one to one support, where teaching is led by an individual’s requirements.
