In this one-year programme, you will revisit genetic research, looking at how cell signalling affects us and potentially triggers certain diseases as well as examining the latest biotechnologies that are transforming the way we analyse, diagnose and respond to issues affecting the human body. There are modules on drugs and disease and also on the research being carried out in the world of chronic diseases from which a significant proportion of the population suffer. Finally, you will be invited to submit a dissertation on a topic within the curriculum that interests you.
