This course has been designed with the intention of meeting the requirement of the National Occupational Standards and industry working groups.Assessments normally consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations.You will be provided with a training manual, the training manual allows you to study in your own time, at your own pace, to reduce the time spent on the training course to a minimum. It is important that you study the content of the manual throughout your course to ensure that you are properly prepared and can take part in discussions during the course. Industry placement, field trips and guest speakersWork placements and field trips are not an integral part of this course. How will I learn? At Blackpool and The Fylde College we recognise that all students learn differently and our tutors work with you to ensure that their teaching methods support the way that you like to learn.Your tutors ensure that demonstrations are used whenever possible so you can see the practical skill being used so you can then practise the skill. Following demonstrations, you will then have hands on practical time where you will be implementing the skill learned.As part of the course, you will be provided with a training manual.
