Wellbeing

We understand that keeping well both physically and mentally is vital to achieving educational success. That's where our support services come in, providing assistance when you need it most.

The mental and physical wellbeing of students at Blackpool and The Fylde College is extremely important.

We understand that many factors can affect wellbeing and our support teams in further and higher education can offer appropriate guidance to encourage a state of positive wellbeing.

We recognise it isn't easy to focus on your studies and enjoy student life when personal difficulties or emotional worries such as stress and anxiety, family issues and financial concerns arise. This is why we’ll be there to help and support you to ‘get back on track’.

We offer a range of services to help you get the most from your studies and personal life, which include:

  • Counselling
  • Equality, diversity and wellbeing services
  • Self-esteem and confidence building programmes
  • ‘Heartmath’ sessions
