How the Wellbeing Team Can Support You
The Wellbeing Team can support students with a wide range of concerns, including low mood, anxiety, building resilience, and understanding and managing emotions.
The team works to empower individuals to develop confidence, coping strategies, and self awareness, helping them to prioritise a positive and healthy mindset and maintain their emotional wellbeing throughout their time at college.
What We Offer
Our Wellbeing Mentors can support students with a range of wellbeing needs, including:
- Low mood and anxiety
- Building resilience and coping with change
- Understanding and managing emotions
- Healthy routines, including sleep, nutrition and healthy relationships
Wellbeing Mentors offer a safe, confidential space to talk and can help you develop strategies to support your emotional health and wellbeing throughout your time at college.
Ways we can help
We offer a range of services to help you get the most from your studies and personal life, which include:
- Mentoring – Structure sessions working towards your personal goals
- Membership to an online wellbeing community
- Information, advice and guidance including referral support to external services
- Workshops and resilience building sessions
Are you currently studying at B&FC?
You can request to talk to a Wellbeing Mentor by:
- Booking an appointment using the QR code on the back of your Student ID card
- Ask a member of staff for support to make a referral to the team
- Visit a drop-in session at one of our following locations - Bispham Campus, University Centre, Fleetwood Nautical Campus
