As a painter and decorator by trade I have worked on the restoration and renovation of government buildings and private homes (interiors and exteriors) across the North West.
My skills include preparing surfaces, applying wall hangings and utilising specialist decorative effects such as marbling and rag rolling. I am experienced in the use of both water and oil-based paint products, and I am fully versed in all aspects of construction health and safety. I am also first-aid trained.
My other specialisms include mural art work using mixed media in spaces ranging from churches to children’s bedrooms. Further to this I am an aspiring artist.
I partake in extra-curricular activities such as creative youth work and I also organise events for the local community. This recently involved project managing a stage production for a local urban dance school.
As a former student of B&FC I know that the College is an excellent establishment, with a wonderful sense of community and exceptional staff and facilities. The environment is conducive to learning and tutors are experts in their fields. A course from the College provides the skills and knowledge required to help you progress to degree-level education and a successful career.
We will always help you to achieve your ambitions and goals.
