Michelle Kirkham

Biography

A qualified lecturer and Human Resource manager with experience of HRM and HRD within the public and third sectors, chartered member of the CIPD professional HR body and Chartered Management Institute.

Prior to working in education, Michelle was a Human Resources Manager and lectured part time on the CIPD course. In 2008, Michelle was appointed Programme Leader for the CIPD provision at Blackpool and The Fylde College.

In 2009, Michelle received an award for outstanding success rates at the College and in 2011, the CIPD provision achieved grade 1 status, which has been maintained to this date.

In 2011, Michelle was promoted to Curriculum Leader with responsibility for professional courses. In 2012, Michelle was guest speaker at the CIPD annual national standards conference.

In 2016, Michelle successfully achieved a Masters in HRM with distinction and was awarded for outstanding performance.

Michelle continues to manage and lead on the CIPD and other professional programmes.
