Biography

Mark’s education journey at B&FC began while he was studying on the courses he now delivers.
Once he had completed his studies, he gained further experience working within schools. He then took up a position with B&FC, assessing level 2 and 3 teaching assistants for the Workforce Development Team.
Since then, Mark has progressed to teaching level 2 and 3 teaching assistants and also teaching higher education - on the Foundation Degree Teaching and Learning Support.

Industry Background

My background in education began as a volunteer while studying. This then qualified me to register with an agency, for whom I worked as a teaching assistant at a variety of schools across the North West.

Professional Activities

Professional Activities

As a professional, I believe it is important to maintain relevant industry experience to ensure we are providing students with the most up-to-date practice. In this regard, I regularly attend conferences and training courses and I have also returned back to a primary school setting.
