I have been a football coach at various levels over the years. I am currently coaching an under 11s girls’ football team Over Wyre.
I have taught here for 17 years, and in that time I have been proud of our success with regards to widening participation and students accessing higher education in a range of sporting and health pathways. The feedback and testimonies we receive when students graduate and gain employment in the field is a real credit to what we do here at B&FC.
“The pharmaceutical industry dream of discovering a treatment that cuts 3% of strokes, prevents 30% of dementia cases, 30% of osteoporosis, radically reduces the number of breast cancers and bowel cancers, not to mention prevents depression, reduces stress and eliminates type 2 diabetes…. Well we DO have it…… it’s called physical activity and exercise.”
