Blackpool-born Gabriella grew up in nearby Poulton, attending school and later college there.
She then spent two years working in France and on her return to the UK, started a degree in Film and Media Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University. She also undertook a Cert TESOL qualification.
After time spent working in both Manchester and London, Gabriella returned to Blackpool to do a PGCE and has worked at B&FC ever since.

B&FC has a very nurturing environment.
“Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury
Signifying nothing.” - Shakespeare
