Emma Cottam

Biography

Emma graduated from Blackpool and The Fylde College with a First Class BA (Hons) Wildlife and Environmental Photography in July 2012, with a particular interest in cyanotypes.

In September 2013, she began teaching at the College and has since played an active role in the development of the College’s photography provision. Emma is now Programme Leader for the College’s FE photography programmes.

Outside of her role at College Emma runs her own small business and is the editor of a wellbeing magazine for mums, alongside hosting a podcast and live events.

Emma now runs her own small business, creating a wellbeing magazine for mums, alongside hosting a podcast and live events.

Professional Activities

As well as producing and exhibiting my own photographic projects I run my own small business within the craft industry, attending many local and regional art fairs and makers’ markets. I have local and national contacts across a range of creative roles.
