Biography
Prior to moving into further and higher education I held a number of work-related positions in the commercial and industry sectors.
Today I have close involvement and engagement in the stage processes/procedures, over a number of years, in submissions for approval of FdA/BA(Hons) Business and Financial Management programmes as an appropriately and delegated qualified person – both academically and professionally.
As the lead author (Programme Leader), I am engaged in the stage submissions for internal approval of the Professional Diploma in Accounting.
My role involves:
Creating the appropriate and relevant academic assignments for internal/external moderation of undergraduate programmes within set timeframes, particularly in the areas of Strategic Financial Decision Making and Approaches to Managing Strategically, Ethics in Business, Financial Analysis and Financial Management Accounting.
Submitting annual programme and module reviews for academic curriculum and board approvals.
Reviewing relevant academic texts for the lead areas of responsibility within the Business and Financial management undergraduate and professional programmes. Engaging students in the Partners in Learning, British Values and widening participation processes. Other than English, I am not fluent in any other language.
