Results Day 2026

The course has opened so many doors for me. My placement was amazing and I learnt so much. Getting that experience is something you just don't get by studying A levels. Having been in the classroom and having spent so much time with the children means I'm confident I've made the right career choice. Now I'm really looking forward to going to Leeds Beckett University to further my studies."

I chose a T level because of the work experience. You don't get that with any other course and I learnt so much from the professionals during my time there. In fact, I'm planning to go back and do a degree apprenticeship with them next to become a software engineer so it's worked out really well."

I looked into it beforehand and found that Blackpool and The Fylde College has one of the best Engineering departments in the country which is why I chose to come here. I would recommend doing my course to anyone. I've had an amazing time - I even got to visit McLaren headquarters and experience being driven around their test track in some of their high performance vehicles."

I think it's really beneficial to do the 315 hour placement as you actually get to see what working in the industry is like. I worked at Clifton Care Home and Blackpool Victoria Hospital. I was on the wards dealing directly with patients and supporting people with personal care needs more or less from the start. It's eye-opening and great preparation for your future career."
