Student Case Study - Ray
Ray struggled at school and was worried about what the future might hold. He'd always been interested in cars so an automotive course at the college seemed like the best option.
Even though he had to go back to basics, Ray really shone. He loved his course and the help he got with the English and maths made all the difference. His tutors couldn't speak more highly of him so it came as no surprise that he stood out when Halfords paid the College a visit. In fact, they were so impressed they offered him an apprenticeship!
"I've really enjoyed College. I'm more of a hands-on person so being here has been much better for me than school and I've been able to focus more. I was so excited to be chosen as an apprentice and really don't think I would have got that opportunity anywhere else."
