This funded, 6-week pre-employment programme is specifically designed to equip you with practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and the professional behaviours required to thrive in a casino environment. Whether you're unemployed, on benefits, or looking to enhance your skill set while earning under £25,000 a year, this programme is your gateway to a new career.

Hands-On Training

Engage in two full days of practical games training, including Roulette, Black Jack, and Poker, at our state-of-the-art facility at Bispham Campus, led by industry experts.

Real-Life Experience

Participate in site visits to Grosvenor Casino Blackpool, where you'll gain invaluable insights and experience the day-to-day operations of a leading casino.

Guaranteed Interview

Successfully complete the programme and receive a guaranteed interview with Grosvenor Casino Blackpool, paving the way for your new career.

Qualifications Obtained

The qualifications below will be obtained on completion of the programme, in order to submit an application please just apply for the course linked below and we will be in touch.

  • NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Well-Being, covering essential topics such as stress management, mental health awareness, and personal safety.
  • NCFE Level 1 Award in Employability Skills, focusing on mindset, motivation, and effective teamwork.
  • NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Excellence in Customer Service for Hospitality, ensuring you understand the standards and expectations in the hospitality sector.

Duration/Location

6 week course Monday - Friday 9.30am- 4.30pm

Training will take place either on-site at Grosvenor Casino Blackpool or at our Bispham Campus, offering a flexible and accessible learning environment.

Eligibility and Funding

This programme is fully funded for individuals who:

  • Meet home status requirements
  • Are 19 years or older as of 31st August 2023 (for courses starting before September 2024) or 31st August 2024 (for courses starting after this date)
  • Are unemployed and in receipt of benefits, or employed and earning under £25,000 per annum

Assessment and Certification

Throughout the course, you will complete a series of workbooks and assessments to achieve recognised qualifications that will boost your employability and confidence in the workplace.
