What is a physical disability?A physical disability limits the physical function of one or more limbs and/or total or partial loss of a part of the body. In general a physical disability has long-term effects, but can also be temporary, following an accident or illness.A person may be born with a physical disability or acquire it later in life. It can be limiting on a person’s physical functioning, mobility, dexterity or stamina.
