PayMyStudent Welcome to PayMyStudent, the new online portal that allows you to apply directly for bursary funding to make financing your course that little bit easier. Visit Online Portal PayMyStudent - what you need to knowPayMyStudent is a one-stop system you can use to apply for a range of financial support which may be available to you as a 16-18, adult or HE student at Blackpool and The Fylde College (subject to personal circumstances and eligibility). This is in addition to the funding you may receive from the government and Student Finance England.Applying for additional financial support through PayMyStudent is simple. You fill out one application form and submit this together with the supporting evidence we use to determine your eligibility for all the different bursaries and financial support available.Once your eligibility has been determined, you can use the same system to track your payments. What can I apply for?For more information on our financial support packages, please visit our Financial Support homepage. From there you can navigate to dedicated Financial Support pages for School Leavers, Adult Learners and Higher Education. How and when do I apply?You can only apply for additional financial assistance through PayMyStudent, once you are enrolled on a course with us.You will need your B&FC log in details (e-mail address and password) to log into PayMyStudent. Once you have enrolled onto your course with B&FC you will receive a text message and an email to your personal e-mail account informing you of your B&FC email address and password.Your email address is your student number followed by @blackpool.ac.uk - so if your student number is 12345, your email address will be 12345@blackpool.ac.uk.Please note: It may take 24 hours after you have enrolled before you will be able to use your B&FC log in details. Before you start your application using the PayMyStudent Portal:Enrol for your course at B&FCEnsure that you can access your college emailHave your Bank Account details readyRegister on PayMyStudent (You may have to wait 24 hours after enrolment for your college email to be recognised by the system)Complete the relevant sections of the online formUpload your evidenceReview your application - have you completed all the sections?Sign the declarationClick Submit What's Next?Within 3 working days you will receive a letter via your college email stating whether your application on Pay My Student has been successful and what financial support you are entitled to.The time taken to process applications may be longer during busy periods (up to 5 working days), especially at the beginning of the academic year when large numbers of students are enrolling on courses.
