”I feel like all of the hard work has paid off. I got to work at an incredible place and have been supported throughout, which allowed me to grow and set me up for employment.”

Cordelia was delighted to achieve a distinction in her T level Cyber Security and Networking course, the equivalent to three As at A level.

Speaking of her results, Cordelia said: “I feel unbelievable. I chose T Levels because I am a visual learner and it’s been a whirlwind throughout.

“I feel like all of the hard work has paid off. I got to work at an incredible place and have been supported throughout, which allowed me to grow and set me up for employment.”

Cordelia’s mum, Claire Waterland-Jones, encouraged her daughter to choose a T Level as it suited her learning requirements.

Claire said: “As parents you normally push for A-Levels, but it wouldn’t have suited her – she would have given up. Having T-Levels here at Blackpool as an option, the style of course, is exactly what she needed, and she has done incredibly well.”

Having organised a placement through B&FC at an multinational organisation, Cordelia clearly made a good impression as she has since been able to secure one of their highly-sought-after degree apprenticeships and now can’t wait to start.
