Blackpool and The Fylde College has been recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Women™ 2026 by Great Place to Work® UK.

The annual list celebrates organisations that are committed to creating inclusive workplaces where women can thrive, develop their careers and feel valued for their contributions.

B&FC has been ranked 43rd in the 'Super Large' category, the largest category on the list, and is the only further education college in the top 50.

The College appears alongside globally recognised organisations including Adobe, Marriott International, Cisco and Salesforce, reflecting its commitment to creating a positive and supportive workplace culture.

The recognition is based on confidential feedback from colleagues gathered through Great Place to Work UK's employee survey, which measures workplace culture and day-to-day experiences.

Linda Dean, B&FC's Chief Commercial and People Officer, said:

"We are delighted to be recognised as one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Women.

"This reflects the culture our colleagues help create every day and our commitment to ensuring B&FC is a place where everyone feels supported, valued and able to progress in their careers.

"We know there is always more to do, but this achievement is a positive endorsement of the progress we are making together."

As one of the UK's leading further and higher education institutions, B&FC is committed to fostering an inclusive working environment where colleagues can develop professionally and reach their full potential.
