A former BA (Hons) Acting student from Blackpool and The Fylde College has landed a lead role in the famous production, Lord of The Flies.

Anthony Roberts, 24, who is now signed to Red Door Management, has been announced as ‘Piggy’. Anthony and the rest of the brilliant cast will be performing at The Regents Open Air Theatre in London and will then go onto a UK tour at various venues around the UK and Ireland between 16 September 2015 and 19 March 2016.

Anthony, aged 24, originally from Glasgow said:

“It’s unbelievable. I still don’t believe it now. I felt very, very happy when I received the news. My Mum and my best friend are coming to see me perform so it’s going to be a very special moment for me. The Regents Open Air Theatre is a very unique stage. It’s like they have hand picked all the best places to tour in and we’re going to them. I’ve never been to Ireland either so that will be a good experience. A lot of actors dream of stuff like this and I’m lucky enough to be living it. It’s also been very intense fitness wise, there’s been a lot of stage combat and training involved. It’s been very gruelling but incredible.”

Red Door Management, established in 2006, is a leading actors agency with offices in both Media City and London. Siobhan Minnis, Agent at Red Door Management said:

“We’re absolutely delighted for Anthony. This is such a fantastic opportunity for him to work with such a renowned director in the beautiful surroundings of Regents Open Air Theatre. Hopefully this will open many doors for Anthony. We can’t wait to see him perform.”
