College shortlisted for prestigious TES awards

Blackpool and the Fylde College has once again been honoured amongst the outstanding institutions that the further education sector has to offer. It has been revealed that the College has been shortlist for this year’s TES FE (Further Education) Awards.

These awards celebrate and reward the dedication and expertise of the people and teams who continue to make a significant contribution to improving the skill levels of young people and adult learners.

The College has been shortlisted in three categories. These are Training Provider of the Year, FE Outstanding Use of Technology and the very prestigious, FE College of the Year.

The awards are open to anyone working in the UK FE sector; colleges; work-based learning providers; adult and community learning providers; offenders’ learning establishments; and specialist designated institutes. More than 100 providers, individuals and teams are in the running for 14 awards, which will be presented at a ceremony on Friday 22 April at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
