Blackpool and The Fylde College is once again making waves as a finalist in the prestigious Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

B&FC is one of just eight academic centres in the country to reach the finals of the awards’ FE College category.

B&FC took second place last year. The college, which has five campuses across Blackpool and The Fylde and offers hundreds of courses at all levels - from foundation skills to the Postgraduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) – made the finals through the strength of student reviews.

Some of the glowing endorsements included: "Best thing I have ever done! Increased my self confidence and given me the skills to achieve the things I want in life. The tutors are extremely encouraging and supportive."

"It's an amazing way to improve employability as well as personal development. Foundation degree is a great way to get a degree without 3 years commitment."

"Love it, best decision I’ve ever made. The course, tutors, and peers have all helped to make the experience enjoyable. I’m really enjoying the creative freedom on the course and how freely I am able to express my own ideas, but also enjoy taking inspiration from my peers."

B&FC is the largest college provider of higher education in England – with more than 50 degrees specialising in technical and professional education and training.

The Whatuni Student Choice Awards ceremony takes place next month (April) in London.
