Stars of sport and society share success with students

Famous names including sports sensations Paula Radcliffe MBE and Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE are inspiring students through lockdown.

High-profile virtual lecturers are keeping Blackpool and The Fylde College students inspired, entertained and educated during lockdown.

Paula Radcliffe MBE, nine-times winner of the London, New York and Chicago marathons, and Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE, one of Britain's greatest Paralympic athletes with a haul of 11 gold, 4 silver and a bronze medals, will join B&FC's teaching team in coming weeks to host masterclasses sharing the secrets of their success.

Other speakers on B&FC’s 2021 calendar of virtual lecturers include former Masterchef judge John Benson Smith, British skating champ Jenna Downing, skateboard sensation Neil Danns, taekwondo superstar Henry Cookey, Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw, and Hannah Beharry - the UK's number one boxer for nine years.
