Master Metalwork, Finishing & Repair Techniques in Vehicle Bodywork

Learn the art of vehicle restoration, from metalwork and panel repair to painting and finishing, through hands-on, IMI-accredited training at Blackpool and The Fylde College.

Our accident repair training course help aspiring and experienced technicians build the skills and technical understanding to restore damaged vehicles to manufacturer specification and customer expectations.

You’ll work on real vehicles in professional garage environments, developing expertise in metalworking, welding, surface preparation and refinishing. Guided by tutors with real bodyshop experience, you’ll gain the competence and attention to detail needed to deliver repairs across a range of vehicles.

New Whitehills automotive industry training facility

The Northern Automotive Training Academy (NATA) has a new home. We’ve signed a lease on a dedicated facility at Whitehills Business Park, just off the end of the M55 in Blackpool. Improved access and the ability to focus entirely on industry training and accreditation have been at the heart of this decision and has enabled us to equip centre entirely for the trade.

We will still be delivering IMI accredited Panel and Paint in the bodyshop at our Bispham campus, but for everything else industry focused, Whitehills will be our base.
