The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create 6-month work placements for 16 to 24 year-olds. Funding available for each job will cover the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week, plus National Insurance contributions and minimum automatic enrolment contributions. There's also up to £1,500 available per placement to pay for training - and get them ready for permanent employment or apprenticeships. B&FC can work with you to identify and deliver training required to help you get the most from each of your placements.
