As you are nearing completion of your graduate level programme at B&FC we would like to take this opportunity to offer you some advice and guidance on opportunities available to you in relation to your next steps in your future career and other key information.
B&FC Careers Team can offer you advice and guidance on your next steps after graduating.
Our highly qualified professional careers practitioners can provide specific advice and guidance about your future career path.
You may want an initial conversation with a practitioner to find out more or you may wish to book a full career guidance interview. Whichever option meets your needs please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time to talk.
The Careers Team is available to you for up to three years after you graduate, should you wish to gain more guidance on changing career pathways and continuing to increase your employability skills.
You will also have continued access to your Grad-intelligence account, which hosts your Higher Education Achievement Record (HEAR) and a variety of online resources such as current employment opportunities and a range of practice psychometric tests, to enhance your skills for graduate interviews.
If you are thinking of pursuing a teaching career after graduating, B&FC offers a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
Did you know that when you graduate with a Lancaster University degree you may be able to access the Alumni Loyalty Scholarship scheme? Lancaster University will offer a reduction in tuition fees for all taught Master’s programmes for eligible applicants, determined by the level of undergraduate or postgraduate award achieved. Graduate Outcomes Survey
Fifteen months after you graduate from B&FC the Office for Students will send you a survey to complete.
Graduate Outcomes is the biggest UK annual social survey and captures the perspectives and current status of recent graduates.
All graduates who complete a course will be asked to take part in the survey 15 months after they finish their studies. The survey aims to help current and future students gain an insight into career destinations and development.
By taking part in the survey you can influence the future of education.
As you know, we have made the difficult decision to move your Graduation Ceremony to Wednesday 7 July 2021. Arrangements are now underway to ensure a truly memorable occasion that will stay with graduates forever and we will keep you regularly updated.
Please be assured that the above event is yours alone to enjoy, with only those students who were due to graduate this summer being invited. In the meantime, we look forward to issuing your certificates as soon as possible upon successful completion of your course.
Graduation results will also be published in the Blackpool Gazette.
