Protecting Academic Integrity
Your qualification reflects the knowledge, skills and achievements you have developed through your studies. Academic integrity is therefore fundamental to maintaining the value and credibility of your award.
This section explains the behaviours that may constitute academic malpractice or misconduct. Examples include plagiarism, collusion, contract cheating, purchasing academic work, falsifying research, inappropriate use of artificial intelligence, unauthorised assistance during assessments, and misconduct during examinations.
The College recognises that students may sometimes make genuine mistakes, particularly when learning new academic skills. For this reason, support and educational guidance play an important role alongside formal procedures.
By understanding these regulations, you can ensure that the work you submit genuinely reflects your own learning and achievements.
