To get set for your September course:

We'll either provide you with the information you need to complete your application - or book your onsite enrolment appointment.

  What you need to bring

We'll need to see proof of your address, and if you need to meet entry requirements, evidence of your qualifications.

  • 2 forms of proof of address (16-18s - can be in parent/guardian name), that may include:
    • Gas, electricity or water bill
    • Council tax bill
    • TV licence
    • Bank statement
    • If prior qualifications were referenced during your application, certificates or results slips
  • Evidence of your qualifications (if required to meet entry requirements)
  • 2 forms (one for 16-18s) of identification, that may include:
    • Passport
    • Birth certificate
    • Driving licence
    • National insurance card

  Important guidance

  • Please attend your enrolment appointment alone. If you're bringing someone with you they must stay in the car or outside campus.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment so we can support your safety. B&FC is a COVID-19 safe site.
  • Face masks and sanitising products will be available.

How to get to Bispham Campus.

Your learning agreement

Once we have received all the information required to complete your enrolment  we will send you a learning agreement by email - and that's everything sorted!

What happens next

Once enrolment is complete, our curriculum team will be in touch with important information about your course and an invite to your induction.

You will receive your B&FC ID badge at induction and, if you are eligible for a bus pass, a code to activate it on the Blackpool Transport App.

I’ve applied for an apprenticeship, why can I not accept this offer?

The apprenticeship enrolment process relies on you gaining employment first. If you have any questions about your apprenticeship application email us at info@blackpool.ac.uk.

When does my course start?

You'll be provided with this information shortly after your enrolment is complete - and, if you have a conditional place, your exam results have been submitted.

We'll also send you details about your digital induction.

When do I apply for a student loan?

19+ courses

Advanced Learner Loans are available for many 19+ further education courses, and are available up to the full cost of your course.

You don't need to pay back an Advanced Learner Loan until you're earning at least £26,575 a year.

Before applying for an Advanced Leaner Loan you'll need a Learning and Funding Information and Offer Letter. We'll send you this letter during the summer before the start of your course.

Degree-level courses

You don't need a confirmed place to apply for student finance.

You can still apply for funding up to 9 months after the first day of the academic year for your course.
