Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

Contact Us
If you have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and need more comprehensive support, we can provide that for you.

Before you start at B&FC our transition team will work with your school, with you, your parents or guardians, and with your Local Authority to ensure you get the best possible support when you come to B&FC. Arrangements can be made for you to visit the College and help familiarise yourself with the people and the buildings.

This will help to build your confidence and make the move from school to College so much easier. We can also arrange to attend your Year 11 Annual reviews.

Once in College, we provide wraparound support for you to meet your needs and monitor your progress. We work with you as an individual, creating a bespoke programme of support tailored to you, your needs and the content of your EHCP. We also work in partnership with colleagues in Curriculum to ensure you get the support you need in the classroom.

Our key aim is to develop your skills and promote your independence in preparation for further study or adulthood, whichever you choose.
