Student Case Study - David
Why did you decide to study this qualification?
I achieved a Level 3 qualification but wasn't able to find the kind of employment I was after long term so a degree seemed to be the natural next step.
Why did you choose B&FC?
You can't go to another college or university and have the same quality of tutors as you have here. I couldn't imagine doing a degree anywhere else.
What have been the benefits of studying here?
The facilities are amazing and the smaller class sizes really helped me. There were less distractions and you got more one-to-one support which made such a difference.
What are you hoping to do in the future?
I've already secured a job as a design engineer so I'm looking forward to starting that.
Student Case Study - Yvonne
It's easy to let money worries stop you fulfilling your career ambitions but you might be surprised by how much help is available once you look into it.
Degree student Yvonne certainly was:
"I couldn't believe how much funding and financial support I was able to access. In the end it turned out that I was better off than I had been trying to juggle a part-time job and childcare. If I'd only spent some time researching the financial side of things better, I wouldn't have waited so long to do my degree."
