Student Case Study - Dale
Why did you decide to study this qualification?
I've always been interested in sports from a young age and, ultimately, I wanted to try to get into teaching sports so this was the perfect place to start.
Why did you choose B&FC?
It's close to home and a lot of my friends had previously been here so I already had a good impression of the College and also knew one of the tutors.
What have been the benefits of studying here?
The facilities are great but the support of the tutors has been second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for them - it was amazing.
What are you hoping to do in the future?
I've completed my PGCE and am now looking to get a teaching job.
Student Case Study - Yvonne
It's easy to let money worries stop you fulfilling your career ambitions but you might be surprised by how much help is available once you look into it.
Degree student Yvonne certainly was:
"I couldn't believe how much funding and financial support I was able to access. In the end it turned out that I was better off than I had been trying to juggle a part-time job and childcare. If I'd only spent some time researching the financial side of things better, I wouldn't have waited so long to do my degree."
