HNCs in the Creative Industries

The way people want to learn is changing. That's why we've reviewed our degree programmes and designed a range of vibrant and exciting technical qualifications for the creative industries with both students and employers in mind.

At Blackpool School of Arts we are always looking at ways to make our degree qualifications even more accessible. And we know that not everyone can commit to three years of study from the off.

With this in mind, we're introducing a more modular approach which means that you can study a year at a time starting with a HNC (at Level 4), moving to a HND (at Level 5) and finally finishing with a BA (Hons) Top-up programme (Level 6). You can complete the entire programme in three years, stop at the end of any year or start, take a break, then pick up again where you left off.

The same great content - more flexibility

For some, gaining a Level 4 qualification may be enough to enable them to pursue their career aspirations or to start their own business in the creative industries. For others, a honours degree may be the dream.

What's great about this modular programme is in its ability to flex to accommodate life's ups and downs so that people can gain qualifications at every stage of their higher education journey.
