Develop the skills and knowledge required to work in a vehicle parts department of an organisation where the constant removal and refitting of vehicle parts is in operation.
Our experienced Skills Coaches will visit you in your workplace to support the completion of your course.
There are no mandatory entry requirements to apply for this apprenticeship. However, employers are looking to attract applicants who have a keen interest in vehicle parts and demonstrate a “can do" attitude and have at least basic numeracy and literacy skills.
To be an apprentice you need to be working a minimum of 30 hours per week in the related occupation of your chosen apprenticeship and be at least 16 years old.
You will be invited to attend an interview and be given advice and guidance about the job role and qualification.
You will be required to undertake initial assessments in maths and English.
Teaching and Learning Methods
This qualification will be delivered in the workplace. Your Skills Coach will complete all aspects of the qualification with you over your time on programme. You will need to evidence 20% off-the -job training too.

All staff involved in the delivery of apprenticeships within the College are approved to train and support the students in the subjects and modules they deliver. The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified, with relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
