Course Overview

The Software Development Technician course is an 18 month programme in which is awarded by British Computer Society to help you gain the skills needed to have a successful career.

Entry Requirements

To be an apprentice you need to be working a minimum of 30 hours per week in the related occupation of your chosen apprenticeship and be at least 16 years old.  Our careers team can support you with this and we often have a good selection of employers looking to recruit an apprentice

The course is delivered at college 1 day per week with monthly visits from a skills coach to help produce your portfolio and also training from your employer.
