This course is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners or those wanting to develop their existing skills to skilled printmakers wishing to use the workshop facilities. There will be an opportunity to work with a wide range of intaglio printmaking techniques and processes to suit your creative intentions. You will be encouraged to develop your own personal visual vocabulary using intaglio techniques such as Dry Point, Etching and Collagraph.
Those who have printmaking experience who would like to use the facilities to work on personal projects can do so in screenprint, intaglio or relief, with tutor support and guidance also available.
No prior qualifications are necessary for this short course.
Teaching and Learning Methods
Each of the sessions will begin with a tutor demonstration of specialist techniques and you will then progress through a series of practical tasks. Sessions will be tailored to meet individual needs and levels.

The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
