Course Overview

Starting September 2022 Blackpool and The Fylde College are proud to offer a new range of technical qualifications in the subject area of Business with specialist T Levels in Business Management & Administration.

These new and exciting courses will enable you to develop the skills and knowledge needed for a rewarding career in either Business Leadership, Management or Business Support and Administration.

These innovative two year technical study programmes have been developed with successful global, national and local businesses and they cover the specialist content required in the business sector.  The qualification includes an exciting 350-hour work placement that will provide valuable practical experience to support your chosen career aspirations.

Successful completion of this course provides the UCAS Tariff points required to progress to higher education (degree-level) qualifications.
You take just one T Level - equivalent to three A Levels.

  • Unlike A Levels, T Levels provide:
  • technical knowledge and skills specific to your preferred career
  • an industry placement of at least 45 days
  • Maths, English and digital skills
  • Common workplace skills.

This course is for students aged 16-18. All applicants will be invited to attend an interview to meet a tutor and ask any questions they may have about the course.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or higher, including Maths and English or the successful completion of the T Level transition programme along with GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or higher.

All 16-18 year old applicants will be invited to attend an interview to meet a tutor and ask any questions they may have about the course.

Essential Skills – English and Maths

If you achieve a grade 3 in GCSE Maths or English you will have to work towards re-sitting these subjects as part of your main study programme. At B&FC, this won’t delay your career journey because you’re working towards these subjects at the same time as your chosen subject.
