Each day will consist of 6 hours’ class-based sessions supported by our expert and friendly tutors, with further supporting resources available on our Virtual Learning Environment. These face-to-face sessions will be taught in a variety of ways including lectures, seminars, group discussions, peer-to-peer learning, tutorials and project supervision with the aim of supporting different learning styles.

This is usual on all higher education courses and particularly so on this course where we anticipated that students will need, on average, to spend an additional 12 hours per week completed a series of tasks outside the classroom.

This will include various activities such as research, preparatory reading for subsequent taught sessions, essay and project planning and written assignments,

Expert tutors

All tutors involved in the delivery of courses and apprenticeships within the College are approved to teach the subjects and modules they deliver.

Our recruitment process ensures that tutors delivering a given programme are suitably qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and a familiarity with professional practice. The aim of this is to enrich students’ learning experience, giving them an insight into what working in the industry is really like.
