Do you need to train your staff in gambling legislation? Is it time for refresher training?
We offer bespoke courses to suit your needs, which can be delivered in the work place or at the College.
The Licence conditions and codes of practice set out the requirements you must meet in order to hold your operating licence and your personal licence in the Gaming industry.
LCCP is not static. The Gambling Commission make amendments or additions to take account of developments in the industry or emerging evidence on the most effective means of promoting socially responsible gambling.
As a result the Gambling Commission require staff working in the industry, to attend induction or refresher training to uphold the licensing objectives, to ensure that crime is kept out of gambling, young and vulnerable people are protected and a fair and open game is provided.
The National Gaming Academy is the only College to provide training opportunities for this sector.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course.
Teaching and Learning Methods
At the National Gaming Academy we recognise that all students learn differently and for some it may be a return to the classroom following a break from formal learning.
Our tutors work with you to ensure that their teaching methods support the way that you like to learn.
You will attend a 3 hour training session and then complete a workbook which can be used as evidence, should the Gambling Commission require it.

All staff involved in the delivery of any courses within the College are approved to teach and/or assess the subjects and modules they deliver. The approval process ensures that staff delivering and/or assessing a given programme are appropriately qualified, with relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.
