Course Overview

Our Stage 2 Cake Decorating Skills course is a follow up to our Cake Decoration for Beginners.

This six week course covers a range of techniques including:

  • How to level, torte and cover cakes to a professional standard
  • Working with royal icing, sugar paste and modelling paste
  • Cake design
  • Modelling a baby topper, novelty bag and shoes, roses and foliage

Time 6.30– 9pm

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, just your enthusiasm and passion.

Non regulated provision, Level 2, Hospitality and Catering

Teaching and Learning Methods

Teaching is informal via a ‘demonstration and do’ method of delivery and a very hands-on practical approach.

No independent study is required.
