Develop the knowledge and skills needed to carry out a range of brow grooming procedures with this one-day course. Learn techniques such as waxing, threading, tinting and shaping from our team of industry experts, all with a wealth of salon experience. Following on from this, you could continue to develop your skills by progressing to another short course, such as Classic Lashes or Mylash Lift.

B&FC is accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT). Students on this course can join ABT - and on completion, receive a 10% discount on all main insurance packages.

Entry Requirements

Previous experience in carrying out eyebrow treatments is an advantage but not essential.

You will need to attend the Bispham Campus one week prior to your course for a patch test to check for allergies.

What will I learn?

Industry placement, field trips and guest speakers

This course has no industry placement and no field trips.

How will I learn?

This is a one-day class-based course, with the focus on practical learning techniques. Please note that you will be expected to model for the treatment and you will be working on your peers as well.

Expert tutors

All staff involved in the delivery of adult education courses within the College are approved to teach the subjects and modules they deliver.

The approval process ensures that staff delivering a given programme are appropriately qualified and, where appropriate, possess relevant technical and industrial experience and professional practice.

The course content focuses on a range of brow grooming procedures as you learn techniques such as waxing, threading, tinting and shaping.

You will practise your skills on a peer and/or model. No formal assessment takes place but your tutor will monitor your progress throughout and provide feedback at the end of the session. A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the course.
