Course Overview

Advance your health and social care career by learning to manage challenging behaviour. The Understanding Behaviour that Challenges level 2 qualification will increase your knowledge of challenging behaviour, provide insight into how this should be managed and reveal how best to support positive behaviour. Useful for those working in both adult and childcare/education settings, the programme supports progression to higher level qualifications as well as relevant roles within the sector. Benefit from industry specialist tutors and a part-time programme format with a choice of class times to fit around work and/or other commitments.

You will attend College for a 3-hour session each week for 12 weeks. These sessions will include group activities and discussions, with 1-2-1 support also being provided.

When you start the programme we will assign you a progress tutor, who will support you in collating your written evidence.
